Why did you choose legacy? Our kids were losing themselves in Public school and completely forgetting who God made them to be.
Was there anything specific about Legacy that influenced your decision? I was influenced greatly by the staff and administration's love of Christ. I know wholeheartedly they are all at LCA because of their calling and God-given gifts to guide and teach children and teenagers.
How has LCA helped your children thrive? All three of my children have a stronger faith and prayer life. All three were baptized the first year at LCA, which by the way they were accepted three different years.(2014,2015,2018) All three have become much more confident and aware of who they are in this world and in Christ. I only have one in college so far and I have LCA to thank for their advising and preparations. It is evident that LCA has guided them through all the areas of their lives to be prepared for the future.
What advice would you give families who are considering LCA? I told my family we are not transferring to a private school for new friends. We are transferring for a loving Christ-centered environment and to be guided and educated by teachers who are equipped to do so. Friends and community have been a bonus blessing though.
If you could go back in time and give yourself advice about enrolling at LCA, what would you say? Pray more for peace and assurance. Trust the process and open your heart… these are good people. Get a tutor early for the public school to private school transition.
How has Legacy lived up to your expectations? My kids are reaching their goals. Modeling servant leadership. LCA loves my kids so well!
