Legacy Christian Academy live streams a multitude of athletic, academic, and Legacy community events throughout the year. We partner with TAPPS TV and NFHS Network to provide as much content as possible. Furthermore, while both of these platforms typically require subscription plans to watch, we have arranged to provide all our broadcasts at no cost to our community! Please note that playoff and some away games may require payment to view, as Legacy does not produce these broadcasts, nor do we own the rights to these games.
With two primary platforms, it can be confusing as to what you can see where. Below are details regarding coverage, account setup, and access information for TAPPS TV and NFHS Network.
NOTE: Varsity football games will be streamed on TAPPS TV. See details for TAPPS TV below.
8th Grade Promotion Live Stream Information
Varsity football, varsity boys' basketball, and most non-athletic events, such as choir concerts, PEP Talks, and athletic signings will be streamed through TAPPS TV. Often times, but not always, we can push this content directly to Facebook Live and/or YouTube Live. However, our first priority is to provide them through TAPPS TV. You can always visit legacyca.com/live (this page) and scroll to the bottom to view TAPPS TV content directly.
TAPPS TV content and account information are provided by BlueFrame Technology, who has created an extremely detailed support page that should have most anything you need! Tap here to view.
Ways to Watch
TAPPS TV can be streamed from most smart TVs, smartphones, and laptops. You can always visit legacyca.com/live (this page) and scroll to the bottom to view TAPPS TV content directly. Search TAPPS TV in most app stores to download the apps; we have included links for your convenience. Note: there is no Apple TV app available.
Utilizing Pixellot cameras installed in the Upper School gymnasium and on Comstock Field, we are able to provide live coverage and scoring for any athletic contests or events in either location, including varsity, JV, and middle school football, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. Additionally, we use NFHS Network for non-athletic events such as pep rallies and marching band contests hosted in the Upper School gym and/or Comstock Field. Note: varsity football and varsity boys' basketball will be available on TAPPS TV with commentary. Currently, we are unable to push NFHS Network content to other sites like Facebook Live or YouTube live, but we are working NFHS and Facebook through an experimental program to make this happen.
To view content through NFHS Network, you need to create an account and log in, which you can do here. Remember, you do not need to pay for a subscription plan; simply create your account login and password. Once you have created an account, you can watch through the various ways listed below.
Ways to Watch
NFHS Network can be streamed from smartphones and laptops, as of now there is not a direct way to view NFHS Streams directly on smart TV's, though your TV's browser may support viewing through NFHS Networks online site. Search NFHS Network LIVE in most Apple and Google app stores to download the app; we have included links for your convenience. While the NFHS apps are available, due to some difficulties in locating Legacy events, we still recommend that mobile users use nfhsnetwork.com to access games until the app is updated. For further instructions on how to watch, tap here.
Once you log in to either app (again, don't pay for a subscription plan), search for Legacy Christian Academy, then click follow. Once you are following Legacy, any live broadcasts will appear on the main screen once you open the app. Upcoming broadcasts can be seen by clicking upcoming on the bottom.
Facebook & YouTube Live
We will continue to experiment with Facebook and YouTube live streaming platforms. However, TAPPS TV and NFHS Network remain our primary live streaming platforms, and, most often any content available live on Facebook or YouTube will be pushed from one of these channels. Occasionally, we will stream directly to Facebook Live, but this is usually done in lieu of a social media post, not as a means to broadcast a Legacy game or event.
