Brad Brenneman, chairman

Brad is a Founding Partner of Breck Partners, a private equity firm located here in Frisco, Texas. Prior to establishing Breck Partners, Brad was Co-Managing Partner at Wingate Partners where he had served since 2002. He has served as Chairman of Nekoosa, Dunn Paper and Sunrise Oilfield Supply, as Lead board member for ICS, and as a board member of Binswanger Glass and S&N Communications. Prior to Wingate, Brad was an executive with Entergy Wholesale Operations where he led the development of and acquisition of power generation projects. He joined Entergy from Lufkin Industries where he served as an officer. Previously, Brad was a consultant with Bain & Company. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Kansas State University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Brad is also honored to serve as an Elder of Preston Trail Community Church and as an Advisory Board member for ATC, an Indiana-based customer trailer business.

Brad and his wife Leanne have been involved with LCA since 2002. They have three children:  Abbi ’17, Jonathan ‘20, and Matt ‘22.

Brett Bingham

Brett is partner and president of B4 Holdings, LP and BFC Partners, LLC (its GP), where, since 2006, he is responsible for all aspects of a family limited partnership founded to invest in private equity, real estate, and publicly traded securities. Since 1998, Brett has been a partner of Meeting Protocol Worldwide, a family-owned business headquartered in Dallas that services biotech, clinical research organizations, and pharmaceutical companies in the clinical research industry. Since 2007, he has served on the Board of Directors for AccessBank Texas, a community bank headquartered in Denton, Texas.

Additionally, Brett serves on the U.S. board of directors for African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministries (ALARM), a non-profit ministry focused on developing leaders, peace building, and reconciliation in central and eastern Africa.

Brett is married to Brenda Bingham, who has served in various capacities with the Parent Teacher Fellowship. Brett is the father of daughter Mattison, who is a junior at Legacy and has attended since Pre-K, and two stepsons, David and Brandon, a 2013 Legacy alumnus.

George Crumley

George spent 14 years as a litigator with the trial firm of Stradley & Wright in Dallas. He later opened the firm of Pittenger, Paxton, Nuspl & Crumley with two other LCA parents, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Nick Nuspl. His practice involves litigation of commercial, family, and personal injury matters and he represents numerous North Texas businesses and individuals in a variety of transactional and estate matters. George has been voted multiple times by peers as one of the top 100 attorneys in all of DFW by SuperLawyers, and is consistently listed in Texas Monthly magazine among the best lawyers in Texas.

George graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in telecommunications, and earned his JD from Baylor University Law School. George and his wife, Angela, have one daughter, Emeline, who is currently in 11th grade and has attended LCA since 1st grade. The Crumleys have been members of The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson since 1997 where George and Angela have ministered to adults including young married couples for 16 years.

Patrick Droesch

Patrick is a hospitality industry senior executive with over 25 years of experience serving as a COO, President, and Executive Vice President at various organizations. His areas of expertise include operations, business strategy, branding, executive leadership, and team development for small and large, publicly-traded and private equity-owned businesses. He most recently served as Executive Vice President at ClubCorp overseeing the Business, Sports & Alumni Club Division. He also serves on the Board of Directors of a private hospitality company and works as a consultant with a number of other hospitality organizations.

Patrick graduated from California State University in Fullerton, California, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 1987. Patrick is married to Julie Droesch, who previously served as the Treasurer of LCA’s Parent Teacher Fellowship, and together they have 14-year-old boy/girl twins, Carson and Kendall, in the 9th grade at LCA. The Droesch family has been part of LCA since Carson and Kendall began the 2nd grade. They reside in Frisco and attend Christ Church Plano where they are actively involved in the student ministry. Patrick also serves as the public address announcer for LCA Football and Basketball.

Lisa Liberis

Lisa is a graduate of Baylor University with a Bachelors of Science in Family & Consumer Sciences and a secondary teaching certificate. She first taught high school then moved into the advertising field working for DDB Needham, Tracy Locke, and Rapp Collins. Lisa and her husband James, along with family, opened several New Balance retail stores in the DFW area 16 years ago and currently own and operate seven New Balance stores in Texas.

Over the 15 years the Liberis family has been at LCA, Lisa has volunteered in many capacities including room mom, Parent Teacher Fellowship board member, and Laps for Legacy Co-Chair. In 2011, Lisa introduced Laps for Legacy, an annual fun run for students that raised money for school enhancements such as technology, science labs, library updates, and playground upgrades. With the introduction of the Annual Fund in 2016, Laps for Legacy transitioned into Laps of Love, an outreach event, to love and serve others in need.

Lisa and James have two daughters at LCA, Alexandra (12th grade) and Priscilla (8th grade). They attend Stonebriar Community Church and enjoy time with family, traveling, and staying active.

Dorothy Smith

Dorothy Smith graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in real estate and insurance. She went on to earn her MBA in Information Technology, also from Baylor, in 1991. She worked at the State Auditor’s Office in Austin for several years, as well as InterVoice in Richardson. Dorothy and her husband, Robert, celebrated 20 years of marriage in September. Together they have three children who have all attended Legacy since preschool and kindergarten–Mitchell, 11th grade, Philip, 9th grade, and Katharine, 7th grade.

Dorothy has been an active member of the Legacy community for 12 years. That first year she was asked to help with a fundraiser, and she was happy to jump right in and assist. From there, she went on to serve as treasurer for the Parent Teacher Fellowship for several years before being tapped to serve on the Board. She has been the treasurer on the Legacy Board for four years now. She is content being behind the scenes yet still maintaining an active presence on the Board and fortifying her relationships at the school.

Tom Stockton

Tom Stockton was one of the three original founders of CMI when it was established in 1985. He was President from 1987 through January 2012 and became CEO in 1997. Upon honorable discharge from the US Navy in 1967, he attended Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Hartford, Connecticut, and later Empire State College in New Paltz, New York. He began his career in the cable television industry in 1971 as a sales executive for Dolphin Communications. Mr. Stockton has been in active management in the collection business since 1982. He is a certified collector and holds a Scholar in Collection Business Management degree from American Collectors Association (ACA). He is a 1998 recipient of the Beacon Award for outstanding support and leadership in helping advance ACA's federal legislative initiatives. Tom served as President of ACA of Texas (2008–09) receiving the Al Knox, Ken Harris, and Chris Croly awards for outstanding service in Texas. Tom was awarded the prestigious IFCCE designation in 2011. Tom served as President for ACA International in 2012–13. As CEO, Mr. Stockton continues to be active in day-to-day management of The CMI Group.

Tom and his wife, Sandy, are members of Stonebriar Community Church. They have four children, all of whom are graduates of LCA – James ‘07, Danny ‘09, Zachary ‘11, and Kathyrn ‘15.

Joe Widner

Joe is currently the Vice President of Finance and Administration for Sky Ranch. Prior to that, he worked in the financial services industry for 20 years. Joe served as treasurer of the LCA Band Boosters for 2 years and has chaperoned several field trips, including the 6th grade Sky Ranch trip and band trips to St. Louis and Disney World. He is an elder at The Village Church-Plano and, together, he and Kate also lead a home group for The Village Church-Plano. Joe has also twice served in Brazil on mission trips with Amazon Outreach.

Joe and his family have been members of the Legacy family since 2003. He and his wife, Kate, have three children: Ross, who is 21, Chloe who is 17, and Emily who is 13. Kate volunteers in numerous volunteer capacities in and around the community including having served as LCA’s Parent Teacher Fellowship fundraising chair for two years.
