Feed My Starving Children MobilePack

Supported by Laps of Love

Feed My Starving Children MobilePack Event SUCCESS!

Legacy Christian Academy partnered with Feed My Starving Children to host a MobilePack event on Monday, February 25th and Tuesday, February 26, 2019. Our entire school community was involved in the packing event – from first grade all the way through twelfth grade. We set a lofty goal of packing at least 200,000 meals to send to starving children around the world. We are proud to say that, over the course of the MobilePack event, we surpassed that goal, packing a total of 223,280 meals. By comparison, the City of Frisco is currently just over 185,000. We packed enough to provide a meal for every single resident of Frisco, and then some!

Our Next Goal – Laps of Love

Now that we have surpassed our packing target, it is time to fund our efforts. Our community really pulled together in spectacular fashion to pull off the goals that we set in terms of packing meals. Our focus now shifts to Laps of Love, our annual fun run event. The date for Laps of Love, April 12th, is fast approaching. Teaming the Feed My Starving Children MobilePack event together with our Laps of Love event gives us concrete goals to strive for both during the MobilePack event as well as during the annual fun-run.

Special Thanks to Vanessa Carlton, Legacy Parent and Photographer, who shot these photos from the event!
