What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at LCA?
I enjoy bringing out the creative possibilities residing in all of my students, helping them to think and respond like an artist. Watching students grow in their artistic competency to create works pleasing to our Lord is at the heart of my instruction.
What is your favorite scripture? Why?
Psalm 19:14 (NKJV) states, “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight,O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer,” and it is a reminder of how our words are an outpouring of our thoughts. My church rector recites this Scripture before each sermon to ask the Lord to guide his teaching. This verse constantly reminds me to make sure I am thinking like Christ each time I open my mouth.
