My Family

I was born and raised in Denton, TX, I stayed close to my roots and graduated from SMU. A few years of teaching and coaching later, I found my wonderful wife of 16 years, Janet. She is currently a Multilingual Facilitator in Celina ISD. Together, we're in the throes of raising our two children- Colt (13) and Bennett (9). We spend most of our time between the world of sports and controlling the chaos at home with three big dogs and two friendly snakes. Legacy Christian Academy has been a part of our family for going on 14 years and our prayer is that God continues to use us where He sees fit to grow His Kingdom.

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at LCA?

The best part about LCA are the relationships built with coworkers, students and families. LCA is a special place because of the people.

What is your favorite scripture? Why?

2 Corinthians 5:21. “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” I have always felt that the Apostle Paul beautifully encapsulates the truth of the gospel in this one verse.
