My Family

Alé with her two kids.Hi, my name is Alejandra but I go by Alé! I was born in Mexico City but we moved to Texas when I was an infant and have lived in Texas ever since. I am the school nurse for our smallest little eagles at the ELC and WOW have I loved every minute of it!! I have been a nurse for 15 years; 8 years in the NICU, 7 years in Pediatric Day Surgery, and now 1 year here at LCA! In addition to being one of the nurses here at Legacy, this fall I will be the new middle school cheer coach; I am super pumped and excited for this new role! I cheered at the University of North Texas and cheered competitively in High School and in college. I have two amazing children and a golden-doodle named Bella! My son is 9 years old and loves football, basketball, and golf. My daughter is 7 years old and loves cheerleading and started playing golf this past spring! We are definitely a sports-loving family for sure! Being at LCA this past year has been such a blessing! I have truly loved getting to see our little eagles learn about God and all the love and grace he has for each of us. In addition, being surrounded by such loving staff who all believe and follow Christ is something I thank God for everyday. We attend Hope Fellowship and the kids and I absolutely love our church! I started attending Hope in 2008 and am amazed at all the blessings I have witnessed watching Hope grow and be able to reach more lives. I use to volunteer in the 2 and 4 year old children's ministry rooms but have taken a step back this past year with all the new transitions in our lives.

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at LCA?

Being at LCA this past year has been such a blessing! I have truly loved getting to see our little eagles learn about God and all the love and grace he has for each of us. In addition, being surrounded but such loving staff who all believe and follow Christ is something I thank God every day for because it truly makes a difference on your day.

Where do you attend church and how are you involved?

We attend Hope Fellowship and absolutely love our church! My husband and I started going there in 2008 even before being married and having our kiddos! I have volunteered in the 2 year old and 4 year old children's ministry rooms but have taken a step back this past year with all the new transitions in our lives.
