My Family

I'm originally from Ohio but have been in Texas for several years. I have two children who both attend Legacy and love it here. My husband is a Director of Cyber Security and we have been married for 26 years. I like working out, going on bike rides with my family and traveling. I have taught preschool for five years and absolutely love it. To see the light in the littles eyes when they learn something new is astonishing. I love to share the Love of Christ with them and am amazed by their understanding at such a young age.

Why do you choose to work at Legacy?

I choose to work at Legacy because I wanted to be surrounded by fellow believers. I wanted a work environment that would nourish my spiritual journey and I have found that at Legacy. To be unashamed asking for prayer daily is such a blessing. I love that I get to teach at a school that my children are both attending and see their growth in the Lord.

What are you passionate about? What brings you joy?

I absolutely love to travel. I want to see the world someday. Right now I'm focused on sharing the great United States with my children. Last summer we took a two week road trip to the Grand Canyon and California. This summer we were gone three weeks and traveled to 17 states. We visited several cities including New Orleans, Atlanta, Virginia Beach, Washington DC, Chicago and Iowa City for some college tours. Next summer we plan to see Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone Park.
