My Family
My name is Claudia Allen, I’m originally from Leon-Nicaragua, I moved to the United States at the age of 14. I completed my Bachelor degree in Spanish Studies from Florida International University, I’m a proud Panther. I have been married to my husband Scott for 20 years and we have a 13-year-old daughter. We also have a dog, her name is Lena and she is a German Shorthaired Pointer. On my free time I like to run. I’m a firm believer in keeping a strong, open line of communication between home and the classroom. As a Christian educator I believe that we need to have a relationship with God in our daily walk. We must have strong convictions to meet physical, academic, spiritual and emotional needs of our students. I believe that teaching is a calling and It has been a blessing and very rewarding being a Christian educator for the past 11 years.
What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at LCA?
I really believe that teaching is a calling from God, and what a better place to share my believes and teach about our Lord and Savior than here. Also I get to teach my students a new language and about Spanish culture.
What hobbies do you have? Or what is a fun fact?
I love to run 5K and ½ marathons!
