My Family

My husband Kyle and I met at Texas A&M, and we are both very proud Aggies. We have two daughters Claire (22) and Anna (20), and a cat named Tinkerbell (16). Claire is a recent Texas A&M graduate doing goshawk research in the Lake Tahoe area, and Anna will be a junior at A&M this year. Kyle and I are enjoying this new empty nest phase of our life together. We love to ride bikes, travel, and we attend all of the Aggie football home games.

What do students get at Legacy that they won’t get somewhere else?

I love having the freedom to pray with my students and talk about God throughout our day!

What's the funniest thing that's happened in your class?

The funniest thing that has happened in my class was when one of my students brought her big sister's hamster to school in her backpack.

Where do you attend church, and how are you involved?

My family and I have been members at Frisco First Baptist Church for 18 years and we love it there! I teach 2nd grade Sunday school and ESOL on Wednesday nights.

What hobbies do you have? Or what is a fun fact?

My family loves to visit national parks. A fun fact about me is that I hiked Angels Landing in Zion National Park this summer. I am afraid of heights so this was a huge accomplishment for me – I was praying the whole way!
