My Family

We moved from New Jersey to Texas last year to pursue a better Christian Education for our children and a better cultural fit for our family. We have truly found our home here at Legacy. My husband Jed and I (who have been married 18 yeas) have four children, Olivia ('26), Luke ('27), Avery ('28), and Anna ('33), and our sweet dog Sophie (an English Springer). I have had the privilege of working in the field of education for many years, in many different capacities. I earned my BS in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University, both my Regular and Special Education Certifications from the College of St. Elizabeth, my Orton Gillingham Teacher Certifications, and am now in the process of competing my Take Flight training.

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at LCA?

I have a love for teaching and a passion for special education. I was drawn to Legacy because of their Learning Center. I personally believe that each learner is unique, and as an educator, it is my joy to help them be successful. The Learning Center allows me the opportunity to do just that.
