My Family

I grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas. After going to Baylor, I knew I wanted to make my home in Texas!

Why do you choose to work at Legacy?

I love working at Legacy because the idea of a biblical world view is considered in everything we teach and our focus is on making an impact for His kingdom. It's so rewarding to be a part of guiding learners to know and serve the Lord. Parents and staff members are supportive in all ways. Enriching opportunities like chapel, science lab, Spanish immersion and computer science give our learners the chance to explore and grow in unique areas. Growing up in a private school setting myself, I love seeing how we are “one school” and can be a part of everything from pep rallies to getting to know Upper School students through National Honor Society volunteers.

What is your favorite scripture? Why?

My favorite scripture varies in different seasons and situations in life, but I always come back to Proverbs 3:5-6. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” It reminds me that when I put my complete trust in Him, he will be my comfort and guide in every situation, including the especially difficult ones.
