My Family

Kat was born and raised in Dallas and then moved to Mississippi for college. After graduation, at the start of COVID, Kat found herself in Western Oklahoma for three years, working in radio and then as the Communications Director at a church, all the while doing theatre in her spare time. Kat has a four-legged child, Velma Dinkley, named after a character from her favorite TV show, Scooby-Doo. One of Kat's favorite things to do is travel. In July of 2023, she traveled to NYC to watch the original cast of her favorite comedy troupe perform “Peter Pan Goes Wrong” and even had the opportunity to play baseball with the cast in Central Park!

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at LCA?

I love the class sizes!

What is your favorite scripture? Why?

Psalm 16:8 guided me through high school and continues to be my life verse.

What is your favorite book, show, or movie?

I love Scooby-Doo!
