My Family

I am so excited to be a part of the LCA community! After 18 years in public education, I felt the Lord calling me to pursue a path in private school. I am so grateful he brought me to LCA. I am truly convinced there is no better place to be! I've lived in Frisco since 2003, but I am a country girl at heart. I grew up in Stephenville, Texas. My college years led me to Stephen F. Austin State University where I was a proud member of the Ladyjack Track and Field Team. My time at SFA as a student athlete taught me hard work, discipline and how to fully rely on Christ in all things. I am blessed with the BEST family! My son Carter is in 8th and my daughter Cambelle is in 5th at Legacy. They are the light of my life and keep me so busy! Carter loves football, track and golf, while Cambelle is a competitive gymnast. We love being outdoors, watching sports, trying new restaurants and beating each other in intense games of Monopoly. Our 2 dogs, Aggie and Coco, faithfully keep us guessing which item will disappear off the counter next! We joyfully attend and serve at Frisco First Baptist Church.

What is your favorite part of the school day?

My favorite part of the school day is our Morning Meeting time. Every morning, we greet each other in fun ways, play a team building game, share something on our hearts and pray over the day ahead. We make connections to each other, navigate tricky situations, and celebrate one another's victories. It's a beautiful blend of bonding, learning, praying and growing together as a family of friends!

What hobbies do you have? Or what is a fun fact?

A fun fact about me is that I grew up on a ranch. I had a pet pig that I loved so much! They are my favorite animals.
