My Family
I have been blessed with so much! My husband, Ed, and I celebrate 25 years of marriage this summer. We have two children, Noah ('22) and Nina ('27). Our son, Noah, is a member of the United States Coast Guard. We are very proud of his decision to protect and serve our country. Our daughter, Nina, enjoys babysitting and being an athletic trainer at LCA.
I was born in Mexico City to missionary parents. I grew up in El Paso, Texas, while my parents ministered for many years. I speak fluent Spanish, and I have a huge heart for missions, local and foreign.
What do students get at Legacy that they won’t get somewhere else?
Students at Legacy have the opportunity to be loved and nurtured by a vibrant community. They see love and care from teachers, administrators, office personnel, cleaning crew, friends, and other LCA families. Not only have I been blessed to have the privilege to give this care and love as a teacher, but I have also experienced watching my children receive this care and love by others time and time again. It has blessed my heart to be a part of this this community that clearly portrays the love of our Father. LCA truly is the hands and feet of Jesus!
What hobbies do you have? Or what is a fun fact?
We are a Harley family. We enjoy a fun ride together. We all ride- our son and our daughter ride too. I even have my motorcyle license! Although, I currently ride as a passenger with my husband, Ed.
