My Family

Meg Parker Wilson is a second generation missionary kid raised in Brazil, South America. She graduated from Southwest Baptist University with her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications and Theatre. She also studied at the Los Angeles Film Studies Center and interned for 20th Century Fox in their Features Casting department. She has been on stage and in film both as an actor and director. After moving to Dallas, she began her work in education both as a consultant and as a Director of Communication Arts, teaching speech and debate, theater and overseeing mock trial, film and broadcasting, yearbook and newspaper courses. She loves God's Word and Biblical Worldview integration in the arts. She lives with her husband of fourteen years and their two wonderful sons on a little rabbit farm in North Texas. She loves beekeeping and her church family at Christ Church Plano.

Why do you choose to work at Legacy?

It is my conviction that academic excellence and Biblical integration in education is very important. I am humbled and grateful that God has allowed me to serve at LCA. My prayer is that I will be teachable and thoughtful as an educator, and that my students will be prepared academically and spiritually with eternal perspective for the world in which they live.

Where do you attend church, and how are you involved?

My family attends Christ Church Plano where we have served in small group ministries and taught Sunday school in addition to other duties. We love attending with other believers and growing in the Christ Church Plano community becoming like Jesus for the sake of the world.
