My Family

I’m from Barranquilla, Colombia and came to the United States in 1984 to attend Texas Tech University where I completed my Masters and PhD. Currently, I reside in The Colony, TX with my husband Mark, my little 3lb chihuahua, and have two wonderful sons who are all grown up.

Why do you choose to work at Legacy?

I am grateful to join the incredible team Legacy Christian Academy and contribute to the school’s mission/vision, which strongly resonate with me. Seeing God's hands in each area of the school brings a lot of excitement as I think about the future and all God has planned. I look forward to continuing leading, learning, and growing alongside such a wonderful new community.

What hobbies do you have? Or what is a fun fact?

I enjoy playing Animal Crossing on my iPad and on the Nintendo Switch, where I share an island with my eldest son. I also love building legos, which is an activity I do with my younger son.
