My Family

I was raised in Nebraska and met my incredible wife, Angie, while attending John Brown University. We have five children and one son-in-law: Elli (22), who is married to Isaac, Breck (19), Brynn (16), Landree (13), and Crew (12). The other members of our family are two chocolate labs, Clover and Baizyll. I love watching and coaching my kids in whatever activity they are doing and spending time outdoors and in the mountains.

Why do you choose to work at Legacy?

I chose to work at Legacy because I want to invest in and disciple students. I love helping people take steps forward in their relationship with Christ as they grow in the knowledge, character, and life of Jesus.

What is your favorite scripture? Why?

One of my favorite Scriptures is Mark 1:17 where Jesus calls a few of His young disciples to a deeper level of following Him. He invites and tells them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” I love that Jesus makes it clear that He is who they are to follow and that He will be the one to transform them into who the need to become.
