Legacy is grateful for those who attended our Spanish Immersion Exploratory meetings in February. Your participation and feedback were beneficial and appreciated. Legacy will not be offering a Spanish Immersion option next year but will continue to explore the possibility for the following school year. Thank you again for your time, support, and partnership.
Legacy Christian Academy is exploring the possibility of implementing an add.a.lingua dual language Spanish immersion education program for possibly PreK-4, Kindergarten, and 1st grade. As we consider how to best prepare students for an increasingly interconnected world, we believe that proficiency in more than one language is key. This program would function separately from our traditional classrooms.
I would like to personally invite you to join us, along with a representative from add.a.lingua, on Thursday, February 15th at 10:00a.m. or 7:00p.m. in our south campus chapel. Childcare will be provided for children ages 3 and up. We have included an introductory video below from their website, www.addalingua.com, that outlines the threefold goal of immersion education and what they do to support quality standards and student achievement.
