We are excited to announce Chef Jannelle Kirkwood as Foodservice Director for Legacy Christian Academy! Chef Jannelle has been on campus since the early fall, and she now splits her time between the North and South kitchens. Chef Jannelle was an instructor at Le Cordon Bleu in Dallas, and received her training from Le Cordon Bleu in Minnesota. Daisy Dibley and Kristin Guzak, communications interns, recently visited with Chef over sugar cookies in their latest vlog.

Sugar Cookie Recipe

2 1/2 cups of gluten free flour
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup granulated sugar
¾ cup butter 1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs

Cream butter and sugar together. Add in vanilla then eggs. Then add all dry ingredient. Portion out the cookie dough and bake at 325 degrees until the cookies start to turn golden brown. Add frosting for extra sweetness!
