Why did you choose Legacy? God led us to Legacy in 2004 as we desired a Christ-centered education for our children. We wanted them at LCA as early as possible, so they both began at age 3. We were drawn to the school’s commitment to a Biblical worldview in every subject and the genuine love and support of teachers for each student.
Was there anything specific about Legacy that influenced your decision? Yes! We had prayed over the decision before visiting any schools. The peace that came over me visiting LCA was an answered prayer and confirmation that Legacy was the school to partner with in educating and raising our children to know, love, trust and honor the Lord.
What advice would you give families who are considering LCA? Pray about where God would have you place your children. Trust and obey His answer.
If you could go back in time and give yourself advice about enrolling at LCA, what would you say? Time goes fast. Enjoy every minute. Get involved as your schedule allows. Trust God’s plan for your children. He loves them even more than you do and knows what is best for them. Surrender to His plan.
How has LCA helped your children thrive? Aligning with our family values and Christian beliefs, Legacy has given our daughters a firm foundation both spiritually and academically. Caring teachers who expect the best from their students, rigorous academics, arts & athletic opportunities, presentations and group projects, class trips, opportunities for self-advocating, and building relationships with teachers and friends are all ways LCA has helped our girls thrive.
How has Legacy lived up to your expectations? Legacy has loved, nurtured, challenged, and educated our daughters. They have been covered in prayer from day one. I am so grateful to the founders for obeying God’s call to open a Christian school to serve families in Frisco and neighboring areas. It is a privilege to send our kids to LCA PreK-12 to grow physically, spiritually, emotionally, socially, and academically. LCA has been a partner in raising our children and has helped mold them into the lovely, confident, and independent young women they are today with bright futures ahead of them.
